Love is all you need?

Below is a great story I came across today while blog surfing. I think the Beatles were right when the sang "Love is All You Need". Think about it, what would all the wealth and success in the world mean without any love? ...... Enjoy,

Terry

This could happen to anyone, including You! What I’m about to tell you will shock you. The key though I am sharing is the potential for you creating an abundance of money and being blessed with love and success.Listen carefully: A woman living in downtown Ontario, Canada came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said “I don’t think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat.”“Is the man of the house home?” they asked.“No”, she replied. “He’s out.”“Then we cannot come in”, they replied. In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.“Go tell them I am home and invite them in!”The woman went out and invited the men in.“We do not go into a house together,” they replied.“Why is that?” she asked. One of the old men explained: “His name is Wealth,” he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, “He is Success, and I am Love.” Then he added, “Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home.”The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. “How nice!!” he said. “Since that’s the case, let’s invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!”His wife disagreed. “My dear, why don’t we invite Success?”Their daughter was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: “Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!”“Let us heed our daughter’s advice,” said the husband to his wife.“Go out and invite Love to be our guest.”The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, “Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest.”Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: “I only invited Love, why are you coming in?”The old men replied together: “If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would’ve stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever he goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!”I heard that story from an amazing mentor and friend of mine, Bob Proctor. He went on and told me this: “Most people don’t have wealth or success in their lives and that’s probably because they don’t know how to love. Whether you want just wealth, success or love in your life… I can help you achieve it.”

Disc Golf Keeps the Bear at Bay

I was one that was always up for a round of golf whenever the opportunity presented itself. Getting out on a beautiful day, in beautiful scenery, birds chirping and all, but I guess you could say I never quite got the hang of the links. I am a frustrated hacker. More than a frustrated hacker, I'm the guy you see out there throwing his ball, or worse yet his club into the water with a hostile shout. I am a real bear out there. As much as I look forward to getting out there, I look forward to the round ending even more.

Now philosophically I have always told myself if something gives me frustration, get out of the situation. Life is too short to get this angry, but I have never found anything to replace my urge to golf, until last summer.

My wife and I love hiking, as you probably saw in one of my previous blogs, and last June or July, somewhere in that area, we were on one of our long hikes on a local trail in the Green Bay area, when we happened upon a park with a big sign in front that read "Disc Golf Course". Now I have to admit I had heard of Disc Golf, but I never had given it much thought until we happened on the course that day.

We decided to walk around the course and we watched the Disc golfers and it brought back memories of when I was a kid making up games with the Frisbee. I was intrigued. So much so that we bought a set of discs used specifically for disc golf. The set came with a bag, a towel, a DVD to explain the game and 3 discs. I was ready to go.

After study the DVD a few days after our discovery we ventured out into the world of Disc Golf. I honestly admit I felt a little silly at first, but once I got the hang of it somewhat, I really started to enjoy myself, and as in regular golf, I was also enjoying being in nature. It was fun, and I wasn't frustrated after the game. Not to say that it doesn't come without its own challenges, because belief me some of these holes and throws you have to make are very challenging, but it doesn't come with the one thing that golf had for me. Yeah, the seething anger, and the bear in me.

Now since last summer we have discovered a few different courses and it is still fun, it is free to play in most places, and you usually don't have to wait to get on the course. The only thing missing from regular golf that I truly enjoy is the clubhouse after the game, but hey you can bring your own cocktails.

If anyone is interested as to where they can find more info on Disc golf, courses in your area, and Disc golf accessories, here are a couple of links for you to check out. http://www.discgolfstore.com/courses/usa.shtml http://www.discgolfdirectory.com/ Get out enjoy yourself, you can't beat the price, the fun and you will keep the bear away. Yours always,

Terry

Abundance and Right Livelihood

When I got into network marketing in the late 90's, the team I was on really believed and stressed that you had to initiate a personal development program of at least 30-60 minutes per day to become the type of person it takes to be successful in business.

I didn't have any problem with this since well before I ever found network marketing I read self help books to overcome lack of self confidence. So I started listening to the tapes and reading the recommended books and did find it making a difference in my life, and in my business and I am always one that whole heatedly promotes personal development to everyone I know and meet, but it was a book that I found on my own that wasn't on the recommended reading list that had perhaps the biggest impact on me and that was "Abundance and Right Livelihood" by Neal Donald Walsch of "Conversations with God fame".

As sort of a guy that feels he has to do this and do that and work harder and harder, I realized as Neal describes in this book, that all I was getting was a big pile of "do do". Have you ever wondered why there are two like businesses on the same street that sell the same product, do the same thing, but one is thriving and one isn't? It is all about what you are "being", as opposed to what you are "doing".

This book taught be to be more, no matter what I was doing in my life. If I wanted more success in my business, I had to help some else achieve more success, if I wanted more love in my life, I had to give more love in my life. This just made more sense to me than any other thing I had read and made a much deeper impact than anything I had ever heard or read and I also found it much easier to implement.

I am not downplaying the impact the of all the recommended personal development books I read, and I am sure one book hits each individual a different way, but I highly recommend "Abundance and Right Livelihood" to anyone looking to achieve more in their lives. Neale Donald Walsch's personality and sense of humor make this a very easy read and it's only 130 pages long.

This indeed in my opinion a true application for living. Check it out, you won't regret it. To your success,

Terry

Sharing Some Good Thoughts

We all create our own reality by our thoughts, words and deeds, but it does indeed start with what we are putting into our minds. Good thoughts lead to good things, bad thoughts lead to bad things. We have a choice. It's simple, but yet so powerful.

Most of us have heard of books like "As a Man Thinketh and The Power of Positive Thinking" and most recently "The Secret". These books all instruct us on the power we hold in the thoughts we are thinking and they are all best sellers, because why? Because people are not happy with the results they are getting in their lives, and the reason people are not getting what they want out of life is because of the negativity and lack consciousness that is being programmed into us by the media, the things we read and listen to.

The great thing is that we can change that. We can turn off the tv and stop putting garbage into our minds and we can start putting the teachings of these great books to actual use. Study these books and reading self improvement will start you on the path to much greater thoughts and will eventually begin to be implanted in our subconscious minds.

There is an awesome book out there which I think many of you have heard of and that is "The Power of the Subconscious Mind" by Dr. Joseph Murphy. This book is so powerful and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to achieve long lasting results in there life. I keep a copy in my Jeep with me so I can pick it up and read it everyday. I sincerely believe this book can change your life faster than any other book out there today, because the subconscious mind is where all our habits are formed.

Another tool I have found recently is the Mindmaster program which can be found at http://www.mindmaster.tv/ You can install this powerful program on your computer and set it up to project positive subliminal messages to you as you work. It is extremely easy to setup and you have many different options such as color, font, how long you want the message to display, where on the screen. The greatest thing is there are categories of messages for many different areas of your life that you want to improve. You can select some or all of these and you can customize it to put your own messages in. Another cool feature is that you have access to an image vault where you can have positive images displayed on your screen that will help implant these into your subconscious.

The cost for this program is something like $44.95 and it is a one time fee. I don't get anything for recommend this program as I am not affiliated with it in anyway. What I do get is the satisfaction that I am sharing this tool with you with the knowledge that it can have a major impact on improving your thought process, which in turn will lead to a much healthier and happier life. Let me know your thoughts. :-) May they be happy ones.

Yours always,

Here's to Blogger

Up until a few months ago most of the blogging I have ever done had to do with a particular home business I was involved in or a particular mlm/network marketing training or philosophy. Although what I was sharing I believe was informative and helpful and perhaps necessary for me to drum up a few leads, I just never felt it was personal enough. It kind of felt sterile.

In March I joined Blogger about the time of spring training in baseball, and I just thought it would be fun to write about something light and fun for a change, so I did a blog on baseball. I was right, it was not only fun, it felt like a great release as well. It, what should I say, woke up part of me, that appeared to be somewhat asleep. Part of me felt a little guilty that I wasn't writing about the business I was involved with, but after giving if some deep thought, I decided that there were many other parts of me that could use a wake up call and since then I have been having a great time blogging and sharing my interests.

My biggest problem now is what interest I should write about next. I had forgotten how many things in life that really bring me pleasure. This itself has been worth starting this blog. To open my mind again to these many great parts of me, and share it with the world. Laughing out loud, well maybe not the world, but the few people that find it interest enough to read it.

I feel somewhat reborn, and can't wait to dig into some old parts of me that have been lying dormant. This is probably not the most exciting post, but I just wanted to express what Blogger has done for me. I'm just being myself and loving it. If that means a mlm/network marketing post from time to time, that is part of me to. I encourage everyone to share their passions on blogger. It has been very, very good to me.

Hiking is Good For the Soul

When I need a break from the phone calls, conference calls, meeting and just life in general the first thought I have is to take a hike. Northeast Wisconsin has a lot of great places to hike and many levels of hiking for the novice to the gung ho hiker. There is just something about getting out on some quite trail that frees the mind and soothes the soul. I do some of my best and creative thinking just walking along taking in nature, and usually without even trying. It all comes so naturally in nature.

There have been times when I have been bogged down with a problem or situation and I just want to get away from it, and low and behold a solution or an idea pops into my head. This is just one testimony on the beauty of hiking.

Some of the other benefits of visiting a hiking trail are getting great exercise and burning calories or course, seeing wildlife and nature, and most important just getting in touch with your soul. It's a such a great feeling that I wanted to put it into this blog so that everyone can know what I get out of hiking. I love it

I usually walk about 4 to 8 miles when I hike, but this is when I pre plan a hike in advance. If it's just a spur of the moment hike at a trail close to home, on a day I just need to get away, I usually keep it to 1 -3 miles. It's all really up to you. You can start slow and gradually work your way up or just take jaunts, whatever works best for your preference and/or schedule.

Some of the things I would recommend taking on a hike are as follows 1) water 2) light snack 3)cell phone, turned off, only use as needed. 4) comfortable walking shoes 5) sunscreen 6) hat and perhaps an extra shirt 7) compass. This will guarantee a safe and enjoyable hike.

There are great hiking trails all over the US and I found this website that will help you locate a trail based on many different preferences. It's also great if you are planning a vacation and want to know where some of the best scenic trails are. The site is http://www.localhikes.com/ It also offers many tips and just about anything that you can think of as far as planning a hike goes.

So with that, I'm off for another hike. I hope you get out and enjoy one soon.

Terry P's Egg Salad Special

As the middle child of 7 kids growing up I helped mom in the kitchen quite a bit. Not so much because I had to as much as I loved to. I used to spend hours with my mom learning how to prepare main dishes, desserts and so forth. As I grew older the passion continued and I started cooking for friends. To this day I still fancy myself as somewhat of a chef so from time to time I wish to share a few of my recipes.

Since it is summer I am always looking for something quick to make in the kitchen and one of my summer favorites is my egg salad sandwiches. Although it may sound pretty plain I have received a lot of compliments on this. A dash of this and that really brings this mixture to life.

Ingredients

4 eggs

mayonnaise

yellow mustard

12 green olives

crushed red pepper

basil

seasoned salt

sour cream

black pepper

1 onion

1 tomato

lettuce

bacon bit

8 slices of wheat or white bread

Boil eggs for 3 minutes, and let cool. You can do this ahead of time so that they are ready for you at lunch time. Peel eggs and chop with spoon in large mixing bowl. Add one table spoon of mayonnaise, one table spoon of sour cream and 1/2 table spoon of yellow mustard and mix thoroughly. Then sprinkle in 1/2 table spoon of crushed red pepper, a hint of basil, black pepper and seasoning salt. Chop 12 green olives and add to mixture and once again mix thoroughly. Your mixture is now ready. If you want you can cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or it is good just as it is.

Now toast your bread and lay on your plate. Add a mixture to each sandwich and top with bacon bits, a slice of onion, tomato and top it off with lettuce. Add the top slice to your sandwich, slice diagonally and serve with a pickle. Hm mm. good. Let me know how it goes for you. I also substitute jalapeno peppers for the green olives at times. Enjoy.

Steve McNair, A Tragedy in Many Ways

I remember watching Steve McNair play on Thursday night football with the Ravens on the NFL channel back in the 2007 season and I remember saying to my wife, "this is the case of a guy that didn't know when to hang it up." He was awful, he was struggling to get up almost every play it seemed, and when he did manage to get a play off it was just plain ugly.

This was a sad story to me, because I remember him in his great years with the Titans and he seemed much to young to be physically that beat up. I was never a huge fan of his, but I always admired and respected what he could do on the football field, but that day to me was a tragedy.

Obviously this tragedy does not compare with what happened this past weekend, with Steve McNair being gunned down my his 20 year old mistress Saleh Kazemi in an apparent murder/suicide. Who would have known? To the public eye McNair was a good man, good father, good husband and a good man in his community, but with the now airing of the dark secret(s) that he did have, it makes you stop and think, just who can you hold up on a pedestal as a true role model?

So many athletes, movie stars and public figures are made out to be hero's by the media and by the fans that adore them only to later prove only to be a major disappointment. I'm not saying Steve McNair was a bad person, I think he was a good guy that got involved in some bad things and obviously made some bad decisions, but has proved to be a disappointing role model to so many people that adored him.

I think it's time to wake up and start taking stock of who we should really be holding up on our pedestals and aspiring to be like and start looking close to home. We have so many role models and great in our own homes, communities and hearts to be taking a chance with these public icons. What's wrong with having mom or dad or cousin Louie, your kids little league coach, God, Jesus, Allah or your creator be your role mode. These are people that are close to you that you truly know and love and the biggest thing of all they most likely won't disappoint you.

I'm not saying that all athletes and celebrities are bad people, but it is been proved over and over again that they are truly not always what they are cracked up to be and end up breaking many hearts.

Take a sure bet when you choose your role model and you won't end up feeling like so many people do today after this tragic ending to a man's life. God Bless Steve McNair and his family and the Kazemi family. God bless you,

Terry

The Games We Play

As a kid who loved sports I grew up playing games like Apba, Strato-matic and Avalon Hill. I eventually graduated to Pursue the Pennant and Dynasty League baseball. I loved sports, I love statistics and strategy and I spent hours playing these games. The managing of my favorite teams and stars and the quick flow of the game consumed hour after hour for me. I admit it, I was a sports board game geek, but I loved it.

This was before the age of computers and games systems and I had to keep my own statistics, but I didn't mind, in fact it felt personal seeing game after game what these players were doing in my little world. My best friend and I created our own leagues and spent hours comparing stats and dramatic games. I was in heaven. I wouldn't change that for the world. It seemed like the best of times.

I recently purchased a playstation 3 and of course you need to purchase games, because they are not included so I picked up a copy of MLB the Show '09. I have to admit the graphics in this game is beyond compare you feel you are right at the ballpark. The player mannerisms the action is uncanny. This game keeps all the stats and then some and offers many different competition levels and even online competition. Amazing how far the gaming world has come since I was a kid.

I started a season and have been playing my Milwaukee Brewers, but have been struggling mightily. It first took me awhile to get used to the speed of the game and pitching, which is cool, because it is just like playing real ball, and it is fun competing against the computer and others online, but some things are missing.

You think I would be in heaven with the life like graphics and modern technology, but here is a 50 years old man cursing at the tv screen at bat after at bat and game after game due to the frustrating nature of trying to hit the baseball with my favorite players. My wife just laughs at me, which makes me more upset and I'm sure it is pretty comical, but many times this game just puts me in a bad mood. I don't remember feeling this way when I was playing the games of my youth. I remember being awake at night thinking about playing again as soon as I got up. Not ready to punch out my tv.

Last night after getting crushed by the Cardinals 7-2 and only mustering 6 hits I said enough is enough. I was steaming. How and why could a game do this do me? I am ready to throw in the towel. Maybe I should just play in managerial mode, or maybe I should let the computer simulate my season, but my competitive nature makes me want to go out and start hacking again, but for the sake of my sanity I think I am going to go back to the old school games. Hey, at least there are wild plays and rain delays and now you can play them on the PC and let the PC update all the stats. I need something to justify my actions.

As great as PS3 is and MLB '09 the show is with all the stunning graphics and statistics, it could be even better by adding some of these wild plays and rain delays, etc. Maybe have a fan run on the field or grab a ball in play or have a bug invasion like what happened in Cleveland a few years ago in the playoffs. They have all the technology. Why not? Again, justifying my actions. :-)

I know I am kind of rambling here, and I could go on and on about this, because I love gaming, but I wanted to kind of get out my frustrations and the whole point of this blog post is to say, if something is causing this must frustration and displeasure in your life, put it aside and find something that gives you happiness, because other people have to live with you, and most of all you have to live with yourself. Life's to short to be screaming at the tv and raising the blood pressure. Happy gaming! Love to hear your opinions and stories of your games.

Be Careful What You Listen To.

As a young man who inspired to be a songwriter I always found it was much easier to tap into my dark side when writing songs. I would write songs about relationships gone bad, things gone wrong in my life, and doom and gloom type topics. It just seemed to flow out of me.

After honing my hobby craft for a few years I was playing some of my songs for friends and I was fortunate to have a friend that was completely straight and honest with me when he said, "Terry, your songs are OK, but they are such a downer to listen to, don't you ever feel good about life?" This really hit me straight between the eyes, and I thought to myself, sure I feel good about a lot of things, but who wants to hear about those? The truth is, it was harder to write about good feelings and good things, because I listened to and was programmed and surrounded by lack and negative thinking people, places and things. This is what I was exposing myself to and this is exactly what I was getting in my life as well. It was a tough lesson, but a lesson I did learn. That is why it is often said, you will obtain a like income to your 5 closest friends. It is because of what you are exposing yourself to.

Today I write and listen to more things that inspire me and bring me joy, then things that bring me lack thinking and sad feelings. I am not saying you should never listen to music that may have some negative thinking, sometimes emotions need to be feed, I am just cautioning about the reality that over exposure to a lot of the media, music and junk out there is hazardous to your complete well being. I choose to shy away from the news, music with lyrics about being broke, abuse of women, etc., but when the mood strikes me I will listen to the blues or rock n roll that may not portray the perfect message I want to instill in my being, but it is more of an emotional thing for me. A good balance is recommended.

So today I just wanted to share with you my thoughts on exposure to the negative and lack conscious junk that is out there in hopes that we can increase awareness of things that may be holding us back in life. There is so much out there that is beautiful and positive and promotes inspiration and great things to happen within ourselves rather than to poison our minds. Enjoy music, enjoy life, live to be the most you can be. God Bless,

Terry

It's A Long Season

I sat in chair frustrated yesterday afternoon as my Milwaukee Brewers fell to the New York Mets 1-0. Not so much frustrated by the loss, but once again the missed opportunities again, in what has been a year of inconsistency. 7th Inning and Prince Fielder on 2nd base with no out and Corey Hart at the plate, a missed bunt attempt and Prince getting caught dancing off second base by catcher Brian Schneider was a prime example of another missed opportunity. Although the Brewers have matured in their base running skills in the few years, they still make too many outs on the base paths, which also drives manager Ken Macha nuts.

That being said, I just feel the Brewers could have a much better record than they have and a more comfortable lead in the National League Central, but I have to keep telling myself, it's a long season and the main objective at this point of the season is to stay within striking distance of 1st place until September rolls around and then get ready to pour it on and do battle.

I feel the Brewers need to do a few things to stay within striking distance. One being going with a more consistent lineup and batting order. I know the lose of Rickie Weeks has hurt, but since then we have had a million different lead off hitters and lineups. I think they should either commit to Gamel being the third baseman right now or send him back to the minors. He needs to be in there everyday to obtain more consistent. I'd like to see Gamel at third and McGehee at 2nd everyday with Counsell coming off the bench to spell them. Leave Hall on the bench where he belongs, since he has been mired in a slump, well I guess you can call it a slump, for the past 2 seasons.

Speaking of the bench, they need one more bat on the bench. Frank Catalanotto has been ok, but we need a bat with a little more pop. Jody Gerut has been a bust so far. I'd like to see Mike Rivera get a little more playing time as well. The bullpen is fine for the stretch run, but one more quality starter would put us in good position. It was encouraging to see the start by Mike Burns the other night, but somehow I don't think that will be the norm.

All and all the Brewers have to nucleus of a pennant contender with Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun leading the way, but we need another guy to step up in the lineup as Corey Hart and JJ Hardy aren't having the kind of years they were expected to have, but JJ seems to be coming out of it lately. Again, I'd like to see a more consistent lineup, because I feel it would create more consistency. Here is the lineup I would like to see against lefties and righties.

1) Corey Hart-RF

2) JJ Hardy-SS

3) Ryan Braun-LF

4) Prince Fielder-1b

5) Casey McGehee-2b

6) Mat Gamel-3b

7) Mike Cameron-CF

8) Jason Kendall-C

Hey Ken give this one a shot and stick with it. Looks like a winner to me. A one game lead right now is nice, and I'll hang in there despite the lineups you throw out there, and try to realize it's a long season. Go CREW!

5 Keys to Choosing The Right Home Business

When researching home based business opportunities one should be aware of a few key things that will help you choose the right business for you. There are more and more home businesses/mlm opportunites everyday and believe me I have seen the good, bad & extremely ugly, but I have discovered what makes an opportunity worthwhile to me.

The #1 key is to make sure the opportunity has a good, consumable product that people want. If you have a product that is good, but people only need it one time, you are going to have to keep scrambling to find new customers. That is way too much work and not necessary. Repeat, residuals sales and word of mouth is a very big thing if you want to grow a strong business thriving business.

The #2 Key is to find a business that has a product you are passionate about. Believe me it will be much easier to promote something you enjoy and love as opposed to trying to sell something like life insurance, unless or course you are passionate about life insurance, but it will also show through to your prospects. If you love what you are doing it will shine through.

The #3 Key is to make sure the opportunity you are exploring has a support system. To often, and it is so unfortunate that their are people and businesses that are only interested in signing you up, then you can never reach them again and you are hung out to dry trying to figure out everything on your own. The best opportunities will have mentors that care about you and your success, because they realize that it comes back to them. Your success is their success and that is the way it should be. Also, make sure the company has tele-conferences, trainings and webinars on a regular basis with top income earners leading the way.

The #4 Key is to make sure the company or organization within the company has a business system in place that is working for many different types of people. My first opportunity I signed up, they handed me a briefcase and said "go knock on doors". I was 18, ambitious and shy, but needless to say I failed. That was their system and it was something I was not going to be able to succeed in. Make sure the business they have is versatile enough where that many different personalities may succeed with.

The #5 key consider is the company's compensation plan. This is something you want to study very thoroughly and decide if it is doable for you. There are many different types of compensation plans out there and people have their opinions on which one is better, but I won't to into that on this blog, but don't be afraid to ask questions as you study the plan and decide if is something you are comfortable with.

These I believe are the 5 main keys to choosing the right mlm/home based business for you, but there are other variables to consider such as, "how long has the business been in business and who heads the company and where is it located?." Make sure it all feels right to you before you join. If you feel uncomfortable about certain aspects, again, don't be afraid to ask questions to the person who is to be your sponsor. Go with your gut feeling on this, because it is a decision you are going to have to live with.

I hope this helps. Feel free to share with me other things you consider when researching a home based business. I'd love to hear your comments. Thanks again for reading my blog. Have an awesome day.

The Necessity of Personal Development

As a kid in my late teens in the mid to late seventies I found myself lost, with no confidence, unsure of myself and just plain miserable. I was drifting along with no direction. The things that used to bring me pleasure didn't do so anymore. Perhaps I had outgrown them or they just didn't challenge me anymore. I don't know, but what I did know was I need something to change my thoughts, my attitude, my look, just about everything about me if I were going to be the kind of person I desired to be.

A friend turned me on to a book that was hot at the time called "Looking out for number 1". It was my first taste of personal development and boy did that make me hungry for more. I started reading anything I could that I thought would improve me as a person, I even got into some deep Metaphysical philosophies as I was craving more and more, which was surprising even to me, because up to that point in my life about the only thing I ever read was the sports page.

Anyway, it wasn't long before people started commenting on how I was somehow different or that I had matured and I started to thing about what was causing the change in me and I realized it was because my thinking had radically changed and all that good stuff I was putting into my brain was actually effecting me in an exciting new way.

Before long I was back in school working on a degree, writing songs on the side and just living a much better life. I got married and started raising a family and progressing in my career which eventually took me to network marketing. The people I became associated with in network marketing soon got me involved in a personal development program and I eagerly dug into some of the great mentors and authors. People like Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Randy Gage. Spiritual leaders such as Eric Butterworth and Cathering Ponder. I couldn't get enough and I attribute most of the success I had in network marketing to these people. Without the constant growing and the recreating of myself I believe I surely would have failed. My wife and I made six figures in just eighteen months in network marketing and we become better people along the way. I can't say enough about the growth factor that occurred in us.

I recommend to anyone that is reading this, start on a personal development program today, regardless of what walk of life you have chosen. You will be amazed at what you can obtain. There are books, tapes, DVDs, CD's, just a massive amount of media that is available to all of us. Start with just 15 minutes per day and work your way up to an hour a day, and someday you will look back at who you were and not even recognize your old self.

Here are just a few mentors I would highly recommend, but there are so many good ones out there. The main thing is to just get started improving yourself.

Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Randy Gage, James Allen, Stephen Covey, Dr. Joseph Murphy, Eric Butterworth, Catherine Ponder.

The Law of Attraction in Action.

Here is a great story by John Hill that shows the Law of Attraction in action. I have found in my life that having goals makes all the difference in the world, but still today sometimes I forget that. Someone once once said to me "If you don't have a goal, your just on a Sunday drive." How true that is. Enjoy the story.

"Everything you have in your life, you have attracted to yourself because of the way you think, because of the person that you are. You can change your life because you can change the way you think." - Brian Tracy

For years self-help gurus have taught about The Law of Attraction - the idea that you can get what you want simply by creating a clear mental picture of what you desire and using your imagination to see it with your mind's eye. It all sounds very tempting doesn't it - but is there really any such thing as the Law of Attraction? Well, I would like to share with you a little about my own experience learning about and then using this principle. It all began one day when I was driving along listening to a tape; and, although I had heard the basic message many times before, on this occasion, it really struck home. I remember hearing the words, " ... how can you achieve a goal you have not even set?"And for once those words found real resonance within me. I thought to myself, if I were to set some really big goals, and if those goals did not come to pass, only I would know; and so there would be no reason to not give the process a try. It was the little push I needed at the time.So I took myself off to Clevedon and sat at the end of the pier with a flask of soup, a notebook - the old-fashioned paper-type - and pen. I was there for about three or four hours asking myself those deep questions about what my own life is about and what is most important to me. At the end of the session, I had quantified four really big goals; the first of which was to become a Personal Development consultant within three years. Now my career had, up until that time, been in IT; and I had no idea how to change not just my job, but my career, but this is what happened ...The company I was working for at the time was taken over by a larger organization and I felt the new company did not really understand my role; which was in pre-sales support; so I started looking around for another opportunity. I saw a company advertising for a Technical Author; and I thought it might help me to hone my writing skills - which would be an important aspect of achieving my goal - so I applied and I got invited for an interview. There I was sitting in the interview being interviewed by two people and one of them asked me a pretty standard interview question,"Where do you see yourself in five years?"Now I don't know how I would have answered prior to doing all that thinking, but what I said was,"Well ... I see myself as a writer (still trying to get the job) and by that time I would like to think I will have written a successful book."He asked what subject I would be writing about; and I had no hesitation in explaining all about my passion for Personal Development."That's very interesting he replied!"He left the room; returning a few minutes later with three course outline documents which he showed me."We are just diversifying into that field ourselves - could you teach these courses?", he asked.Well I nearly fell off my chair! Here he was offering me the opportunity to do exactly what I wanted and had imagined back there in Clevedon only a few months earlier. To cut a long story short: I got the job. I started immediately after working out my notice and so began my new career as a Personal Development Consultant. It still amazes me today to think about how it all happened - but it did!My own belief is that opportunity surrounds us every day of our lives but we tend to miss most of it simply because of what our minds are focused on. That is the power of creating your vision and imagining it as fulfilled. And that was how I proved to myself that the Law of Attraction really does work.

The Law of Attraction Guided me here.

I believe the Law of attraction has guided me to this incredible opportunity to change my life and the lives of those who jump aboard with me. I have been asking the universe to send me an opportunity that would once again ignite my passion and I believe this is it. This is the most exciting investment/ marketing plan I have ever seen. I think everyone owes it to themselves to take a look at this.

Any Aspiring Business Person Could Retire A Millionaire In 12 to 24 Months By Following
The Step-By-Step System Revealed In The ReGenesis 2x2 Wealth Creation System!
____________________________________________
If you’ve been searching for a home based business that can allow you to live the life of your
dreams and rise to your full potential – your search is over! Through ReGenesis you can say
good-bye to traffic and dress-codes and you can finally resign from a J.O.B. that dictates when
you go to work, what you wear, when you take a vacation and when to retire. There really is an
alternative to the 40 year JOB plan – the answer is ReGenesis 2x2!
Through ReGenesis you can enjoy the many benefits of your own home-based business while
maintaining the strengths of corporate America. You can prosper in many ways by taking
advantage of our unique marketing system and, most importantly, you’ll be teaming up with an
alliance of professionals who are dedicated to your success.
ReGenesis is not just another Network Marketing Opportunity. In addition to an excellent
product and a pay plan that rewards people with significant income quickly there is a step-bystep
blueprint that allows current or aspiring entrepreneurs to truly become financially
independent once and for all. Most importantly, the program is structured in a way where this
can be accomplished while maintaining joy and balance in your life instead of the usual stress
and struggle that accompanies most business opportunities.
The ReGenesis business model believes in allowing people their God given right to “get rich
quick!” They believe “getting rich quick” has gotten a bad rap. Right now is the greatest time in
history to create wealth quickly! When making money fast is discussed many people become
skeptical, and yet several thousand entrepreneurs have attained wealth quickly and legitimately
before our very eyes! Not only is there nothing wrong with it, it’s become commonplace in
today’s fast paced business world. During the past decade, even in spite of the current
recession, more and more fortunes are being made with lightening speed AND many of today’s
success stories are created from the World of Network Marketing!
Doctors and Lawyers have to go to school for years before they can begin earning a living,
however, with ReGenesis you can actually earn while you learn. It’s a simple business that
anyone can do. In fact, there is no reason to try to reinvent the wheel – we have developed a
“proven,” turn-key system that virtually insures your success!
The world is changing quickly, technology is changing quickly, markets are changing quickly and
people’s interests are changing quickly. With Change Comes Opportunity! Every time there is a
change in technology, law, social interests, or the latest business buzzword….someone gets rich!
Today, these changes are happening by the minute and every day people are becoming
millionaires by taking advantage of them.
ReGenesis has taken full advantage of recent technological developments and anybody who is
willing to take about 10 minutes to review the ReGenesis website / or fax and demand overview
and listen to the information line will quickly realize that this is a company that is utilizing
recent technological advances and combining them with a support system which will enable YOU
to obtain financial independence very quickly.
Timing is Everything! Don’t be fooled by the current recession! The next 5 years are going to
be a business bonanza not unlike the recent real estate & technology boom and those who
understand a few key principles will get rich, those who don’t will miss the boat because they
are too worried about how “bad” things are right now!
One of the wealth building principles behind the ReGenesis Business Model is the 2x2 Pay Plan
combined with Matching Bonuses….. The 2x2 matrix is a very simple structure that fills and recycles
after only 6 people join or re-cycle. Each time this matrix fills a $400 payout is
generated to the person at the top of the matrix. Furthermore, a $400 Matching Bonus is paid
to that person’s sponsor. Then a new Business center (2x2 matrix) is created in the sponsor’s
matrix… this re-cycling process can occur over & over & over – Matching Bonuses create a
strong incentive for people to actively sponsor additional Distributors into their matrix… And,
even for those who don’t want to work at recruiting others, anybody can earn $1,200 per month
in commissions just by participating in this outstanding opportunity!
Business is simple; it’s people who are complicated! Most entrepreneurs make things far too
difficult. The 2x2 marketing plan is simple – it is easy to understand and it tends to duplicate
very, very fast – creating massive incomes for those who participate.
The response to the program has been nothing short of phenomenal. People instinctively know
when they hear the truth, when it’s something that works in the real world and most of all when
it’s something they can do. The ReGenesis Wealth Building System gives people a bright light
at the end of the tunnel as well as a step-by-step blueprint for getting there. Whether you’re
looking for a business opportunity to commit your time to or a business opportunity that you can
participate in a passive way you’ll love the ReGenesis System.
For the passive individual ReGenesis has created the Automated Recruiting SystemÔ, which is
a completely automated recruiting system that will sponsor people for you – the company will
generate leads on your behalf and then follow up on those leads and recruit people FOR YOU!
There’s no doubt people are getting fired up about this opportunity and that’s good. If people
aren’t motivated they won’t act. The ReGenesis Business System however, is real ‘meat and
potatoes’ – a system that people can use immediately to dramatically increase their household
income. It wasn’t designed to be inspiring, it inspires because of its design. It’s simple, it’s fast
and it work’s!
Our philosophy is simple; “If you’re going to work hard anyway, you might as well get
rich doing it… and the quicker the better!” To learn more about ReGenesis 2x2 listen to
the information line: 800-676-8530, review the website: www.regenesis2x2.com/tp10638 or pull
the fax on demand: 800-621-1987 and call me with questions at:

Fresh Start, Time to Dreaming Again

It is a beautiful, crisp and cool early spring morning here in Northeast Wisconsin as I write today. It's an awesome time of year. Things are coming alive again. The grass is starting to green out, the sun is shining, the days are longer, all things that inspire me, wake me.
I love this time of year for a couple of reasons. With the birds singing and the grass growing, and the warmer days, I know summer is just around the corner. The major league baseball season has started again, and the crack of the bat and the hopes and anticipations of each major leaguer fill the air.
This time of year is a rebirth. A fresh start. To me that means it doesn't matter what happened last winter, last year and beyond for that matter, I have a fresh new outlook on life. It is a time to dust off the past, dig deep for your passion and start dreaming again. It's exciting. I love to use this rebirth period to think back to when I was a child, to all the things I loved, when I was not afraid to dream and open my heart to that kind of innocence that tells me all my dreams can come true, and I actually believe it.
What many of have lost in the course of growing up and settling for the status quo's of life is that ability to dream, and to muster up the passion to pursue those dreams. Past dreams were crushed by self made obstacles that were put up by us or probably someone close to you. It didn't have to be that way, and it doesn't in the future. Even if your dream doesn't come true, doesn't the thought of just dreaming again open up something great inside you? Think about it. What if you could have anything in life, what would your life look like? Play with it, live it in your mind, and believe this time that it can come true, because you know what? It can. All we have to do is dream, believe and put our energy and focus into what we really want to be in life and it can be ours. Believe, put energy and focus behind your dream and you will achieve. It is the law of the universe, the secret, etc.
Dreams=Passion. Passion + Focused Energy+Perserverance=Successful Dream. It is a formula to live be. Dust off your dreams, open up your heart to this rebirth and start living again. God Bless, Dream Big,

Terry

March Passion

March has rolled around again and I have to say that this is one of my favorite times of year. Not only because after a long winter hear in the great white north, but because once again it is March Madness. A sports fan and college basketball fan's heaven. Another March of crazed fans, close tense games, buzzer beaters, heart breakers, upsets and just pure drama. A Pure adrenaline rush.
I think the thing I like most about the tournament is the incredible passion these young players play with. They are so determined and so driven and willing to give all they have for the good of their school and teammates that they rise to new levels of play. It is an amazing thing to witness. It really shows you what one can accomplish with a clearly defined goal and shear passion and determination. These are things that upsets and higher level of play are made of.
It makes me think about the times in my life that I have accomplished some things that I am most proud of. I look at what my mindset was before I proceeded. First I knew what I wanted to accomplish, (my goal), and then I went for it with all the vigor and shear determination I could muster. Like these young players, when obstacles got in my way, I pushed through them with persistance and my eyes still on the goal. It was never easy accomplishing some of my important milestones, just as it isn't easy to win a national championship, but the pure passion and persistance I put forth to reach my goal was so intense that it raised me to a new level, thus enabling to do somethings I never thought I could.
This passion lies in all of us. It is a matter of taping into it. What do you want in your life? Get it clearly defined in your mind, and let nothing deny you. Live with passion, achieve your goals and then create more to continue to elevate yourself to new levels. It is the best feeling in the world, pure elation when you reach that goal, just like the feeling these young basketball players feel when the reach the pinnacle. This is life at it's best. Live your life, go for your dreams, and never stop dreaming. Live with the passion of March Madness in your soul. Have an awesome journey,

It's True, A FREE Program to Make MONEY !

Hi, I hope this post finds you very well. I know you often here or perhaps your Dad or Mom told you growning up that you can't get anything for free. I myself often found that to be true and am always a little skeptical of free programs and I was of this program I am about to tell you about at first to, but sometimes life may just have a pleasant surprise for you.
Recently a friend told me about a free money making internet program she found and that she was having success with it and wanted to share it with me. I figured I would humor her and take a look at it, nothing to lose right?, and what I found has truly inspired me. An actual free program that is legit, and works great. It is called the Bar, by web your way, and the way it works is really simple. You simply download the program from http://tinyrul.com/coqzeq and it installs a tool bar on your browser. Once installed, you simple login in using the information you used when you signed up for free, and you click on the ER button on the tool bar to bring up ads on the side of your screen. You click on an ad and you get paid. Advertisers are spending tons of money to get there ads exposed and they are paying you to simply click and look at there ad. Click on 10 ads a day and your done for the day. It takes about 10 minutes per day.
The WebYourWay(The Bar), really gets interesting when you share this with your friends. Obviously you are not going to get rich clicking on 10 ads per day, but when you share it with your friends, fellow current downline, if your in a program, or anyone you meet and they do the same, you can produce an amazing income. Honest to God people this thing really works, it blows my mind and the coolest thing of all is it's FREE! Check out the figures below:

Level 0 .0040 {your personally viewed ads} $ .08

1 .0038 {your friends} 5 $ .38

2 .0036 {their friends} 25 $ 1.80

3 .0034 {their friends} 125 $ 8.50

4 .0033 {their friends} 625 $ 41.25

5 .0031 {their friends} 3,125 $ 193.75

6 .0029 {their friends} 15,625 $ 906.25

7 .0028 {their friends} 78,125 $4,375.00

Total Friends: 97,655 $5,527.01 Per " D AY" !

Can you imagine earning this kind of dough PER DAY? Well it's true and it's all for investing a few minutes per day. What have you got to lose, sign up right away and start making some money and telling everyone you know about this program. I just had to share this with everyone I know and they are glad I did.

Here again is your sign up link. http://tinyurl.com/coqzeq

Have an awesome day, and feel free to let me know if you have any questions on this post and any other posts.

About This Blog

I am writing this blog on a cold, rainy, March day in Northeast Wisconsin. Man, is this winter ever going to end? Anyway, I found a link to Blogger on an internet page that offered suggestions for earning money at home without spending a dime and the thought of earning money with a blog intrigued me to the point of, oh well, here I am. Hi there, by the way.
I'm not sure what this blog is going to be about at this time, thus the title Random Thoughts and observations by Terry Poster. I do have many random thoughts and an occasional observation so this could get interesting. I have many experiences and interests and just possibly you might be able to benefit from a few posts I put out there. That is a goal anyway, but at least I hope you find it entertaining.
I have succeeded in MLM, by success meaning I have earned over six figures in several consecutive years, so some of my posts will include some things I have learned in my MLM experiences. Of course I have had some not so great experiences in MLM/Network marketing as well, (who hasn't right?), so I will share some of those as well. Other interests include sports, cooking, music & songwriting, nature hikes, spirits, (that's adult beverages :-)) and various other fun things and you never know what else might spew out of me.
The main thing is I want to have some fun with this and I encourage tips and comments from anyone who has taken the time to read my posts. I realize this first post doesn't offer much in the way of content, but I basically just wanted to get started and kind of introduce myself, so just a little bit more about me and I'll wrap this up. I am 50 going on 18, married with 2 adult children (boys), I am currently promoting a free home business call The bar, feel free to check it out at http://tinyurl.com/coqzeq , and please let me know your thoughts on it. I currently live in Green Bay, Wisconsin, (yes home of the Pack), and my main goal in life is to see how much fun I can have before the whole thing goes up in flames. If you want to know more about me, pleas ask, I'll be more than happy to talk about myself. lol
Have an awesome day, I hope it is warmer where you are, and we will be back soon,

Terry
